As a licensed practitioner of psychotherapy (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie) operating a private practice, my billing process differs from state-funded German health insurance. However, this offers significant benefits for you: there are no months of waiting, and your privacy remains fully protected, as no records or diagnoses are ever shared with statutory health insurance providers.
My Fees
- Individual Session: 100 euros for 60 minutes.
- Sliding Scale / Reduced Fee: It is important to me that therapeutic support remains accessible. In specific situations and upon personal agreement, I am open to adjusting this fee based on your financial circumstances. Please feel free to speak to me openly about this during our initial consultation.
Insurance Reimbursement
- Statutory German Health Insurance (gesetzliche Krankenkassen): Unfortunately, statutory public health insurance does not cover these specific, body-oriented therapeutic methods.
- Private Insurance & Supplementary Plans: If you have private health insurance or a supplementary plan (Zusatzversicherung) that covers psychotherapeutic services by a Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie, partial or full reimbursement may be possible. Since these are individual case decisions made by the insurance providers, please clarify your specific coverage with them in advance. I am happy to provide you with the necessary itemized invoice.
Cancellation Policy
Your scheduled appointment is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance (business days) via email or phone.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, or in the case of a missed appointment without prior notice, the full fee for the session will be charged, as the time cannot be reallocated on short notice. Thank you for your understanding regarding this professional boundary.
